Devotional service, which leads to the association of the Supreme Lord, is actual immortality. Pure devotees, out of compassion for the fallen souls, are krpalu, very kind to people in general; they distribute this Bhagavata knowledge all over the world. A kindhearted devotee is called dina-natha, protector of the poor, ignorant mass of people.

We do not see, "Here is a Christian. Here is a Muslim. Here is a Hindu. Here is a white man. Here is a black man." No. Every living being, his duty is to understand God.
This is our preaching.

In 1959 ...Some friend advised me that "Why don't you write some books? That will be nice." So then I began to translate Srimad-Bhagavatam. And because I left home, so practically I had no income. With this ... Back to Godhead, I was selling and I was some way or other maintaining. And whatever little money I had, that was finished.
