Glorious Beginning of the Library Program in the UK

I found the reports from the Vrndavana ladies to be very inspiring. They are putting so much effort into it, travelling on trains , carts etc. with boxes of books to carry for distribution – with no consideration of personal comfort.

I wanted to start distributing to libraries here in England. The next day I phoned the library dept. and told them I had some books I wanted to
donate all over the county. They asked me what the books were about and I  said that they were stories and histories from ancient India. They told me they would e-mail relevant people and let me know if they wanted them.

Later in the day, my local library called and told me “They were very interested to receive the books and they would circulate them to the other libraries in the area”.

Yesterday I delivered the books -forty six Gopi Gitas, forty-six Chamat-kar Chandrika and ten Bhagavad-gitas.

By giving  books to libraries I feel it helps to fulfill Mahaprabhus’ prediction that His holy names and teachings will spread to every town and village on earth. I am hoping other devotees can help me distribute here in U.K. , please contact me
